Top 5 Consumer Finance Apps in Oceania Q1 2024

In the first quarter of 2024, the top five consumer finance applications in Oceania displayed varying trends in downloads and active user metrics. Below is a detailed look at the performance of CommBank, NAB Mobile Banking, Westpac, ANZ Plus, and ANZ Australia.

CommBank exhibited strong performance in weekly downloads, starting January with approximately 28K downloads and peaking at around 33K in the week of March 4. However, a decline was observed towards the end of March, with weekly downloads dropping to 22.5K. Active user numbers remained relatively stable, with a slight fluctuation between 3.7M and 3.8M throughout the quarter.

NAB Mobile Banking saw its weekly downloads trend upwards in January, peaking at about 20.7K in the week of February 19. However, the app experienced a decline in downloads towards the end of March, reaching around 12.8K. Active users showed a similar trend, starting at 1.28M and slightly declining to 1.23M by the end of March.

Westpac managed to maintain a steady download rate with some fluctuations, hitting a high of approximately 20.2K downloads in late January and early February. Active users for Westpac remained fairly consistent, with numbers oscillating between 1.04M and 1.12M.

ANZ Plus experienced a moderate increase in weekly downloads, starting at around 14.1K at the beginning of January and peaking at 17.9K by the end of January. The app's active user base showed a gradual increase, reaching about 243K by mid-March before slightly dropping to 237K by the end of the quarter.

ANZ Australia displayed stable download metrics, with a peak of approximately 15.5K in early March. Active users fluctuated throughout the quarter, starting at 1.08M in January and ending at about 1.02M in late March.
